The Chunin Exams Mini - Event

Fuu considered the best way that she could start this out, sucks that they wanted taijutsu and not weapons but whatever. She snapped her fingers as the idea came to her, oh yes, this would be how she could make some kind of impression at least, she'd make sure of that.

+ Announcer – Kage Aizawa:
Yawning as he walked unto the field to glance at all of the examines. "Well took us a while seems like breakfast was longer than lunch. Oh well time to begin with everything. Okay so on the board are the rules and down the lane are a dummy for each of you. So you all listen to me last time I hope also if not...well get ready to fail this exam. Now read over the rules and BEGIN!"

- This exam will show the use of instructions and performance in battle.
+ Rules +
1. Players are given 3 Attacks in one post. [Players must roll for their attacks]
2. Players must perform [1 Ninjutsu w/o Element] + [1 Ninjutsu w/ Element] + [1 Taijutsu]
3. The Dummy is indestructible [Which is great]
4. To pass one is required to get at least 2 out of 3 hits onto the dummy.

After the three had formulate their strategy, the proctor appeared and told them to approach the dummies one at a time. Shao, Kyle and Mari soon seperated for their own targets, intending to keep their plans strong. Shao was on his own but he felt confident he could hit a simple target.

As he approached his own target, he saw the proctor. "Alright, prepare your jutsu and attack the dummy. " he said,

Shao slowly turned to the dummy. It looked like a basic wooden dummy, however he saw some jutsu seals on it-- which probably kept it from being immune. It was then however, Shao was about to activate his Byakkugan. However, he paused and looked to the Proctor. "Excuse me, but a minor question." He asked and the proctor waited somewhat impatiently. "If I wish to use a jutsu to prepare my attack, does that count towards the 3 limit I need to pass?"

"Yes-- if you use any other jutsu, it will count to the 3. So choose wisely," he said.

Shao paused for a moment. This was tricky... he knew there was twists and turns to this test. If he used his Byakkugan, it be a point against him. Even then it would give him a advantage in accuracy, it would force him to NEED to hit the target twice to pass. Any less would be a failure.

Then the last thing was. they needed to perform 3 techniques each of contact with the dummy. A nature release ninjutsu, a base ninjutsu, and taijutsu. It was then it hit him. If he did perform his Byakkugan, it would be neither of them. And he would fail.

It made him sour to think about but he couldn't use his Byakkugan to make the shot.

"Please perform your techniques now, or I will have to disqualify you," the proctor said in a raised tone, grasping shao's attention.

Shao snapped out of it, and got his head out from his thoughts. He dwelled too much now and it was time to act. "Er-- yes, sir," Shao said as he got ready.

The first move he did was his basic one-- The Lancer taijutsu move. He attempted to deliver a fierce punch upon the dummy!

The second one was a follow up move that involved contact of some sort. Shao used a variation of his gentle fist, delivering a precise extension of sharp chakra-- the Chakra Scalple. The strike cut right into the dummy, though only left a scratch on the enchanted wood.

Finally, he formed his hand signs for the last one-- electricity danced in his palm. The "Raiton-- Wave of Inspiration" . With a directed palm-- Shao launched a bolt of electricity right at the dummy. The bolt would jolt to the target, hoping all of them would hit their mark.

Reo walked forwards as he was directly. He could see the always exciteable Fuu off on the side going towards her dummy. He hoped she did okay.

Reo had a plan for this but he wondered if it was as easy as it seemed. Hit a training dummy three times? An academy student could perform that task. No, they have to have something special about it. Perhaps whatever seals they put on it to make it indestructible also made it difficult to hit.

As Reo approached, he noticed the seals on the dummy. They were unlike anything he’d ever seen before and he had just recently extensively studied the sealing theoretical principles of the greatest sealers in Sunokagakure. These felt wholly different, as if they didn’t keep something in but…out? Reo made a mental note to investigate the nature of those jutsu later.
“Please perform your jutsu and stop dawdling” The proctor said sternly. The man watching over Reo was a Kiri ninja, as told by his headband. He was old and grizzled and was missing an eye. The dangers of being a true shinobi rather than a Genin, probably.

Reo steeled himself and jumped into the air. As he floated downwards towards the dummy, he delivered a Dynamic Entry kick. Then, he bounced backwards and charged forwards – gathering wind chakra in a thin layer around himself to deliver the Fuuton Ransaa that he had developed. Finally, Reo prepped the move he had just learned. The Chakra Scalpel. Chakra floated out from his hand and Reo stabbed it towards the dummy.

Shan walked forward to his lane. A foolish bald monk had just utterly quaffed all three hits. Shan had analyzed what had happened, of course. He had his three jutsu planned.

He walked forward, ignoring the proctor who had begun to question him about his lack of a headband. Whatever. He pointed his finger towards the dummy and shot a blue-white beam of energy towards it.

Next, he dashed forward and tried to deliver a DYNAMIC kick to the dummy before spinning on his heel, gathering chakra in his hand to form a scalpel and thrust it forward.

Fuu tried thinking real hard about the jutsu she would use, but really she didn't so much come up with a plan as she did just shrug and decide that she would just wing it. It really wasn't that hard to try and use Tatsumaki, so she would need to spice it up when she went for the taijutsu.

The first hand seal started her assault on the dummy, the whirling tornado of scorching wind sprang into existence but she didn't bother check it she was already moving in a spinning motion to spring clones into the air, about five of them, and they linked arms for the last one to grab her hand grabbed onto her hand and she tossed them at the dummy, each one forming up to perform a flying Dynamic kick and Shouting as they did. "Dynamic Entry!"
