The Chunin Exams Mini - Event

Reo walked out of the hospital and stretched. He had a few days, should he train? It would probably be wise to do so and try to become as strong as possible. The main question was whether he should use clones or not. He was leaning towards no. The clones left him too tired and he was a Genin in a foreign country who wasn’t exactly at ease. He could be attacked from nowhere at any moment and that wouldn’t be good.

Well. Regardless. Reo walked out of the hospital until he found a rocky outcropping. There was a slight mist in the air which bothered the monk slightly. He wasn’t used to being so close to the water. Then, he began to train.

Shao was resting up nicely after he had some nice food and water, and the nurse of Kiri was unusually nice. Things were quiet enough.

"YAHOO!!" Kyle cried out, "I'm feeling good as new" He boasted, despite a series of bandages wrapped around his shoulder, arm, and forehead where his bandana used to be.

Mari actually needed the littlest amount of treatment. After all, she was a medic. She could easily treat herself, but she recovered with the rest of them.

Once they had recovered, Shao and the others made their way towards the center hall of the hospital. For the time being, Shao was working on his own training as well-- the mental focus and discipline needed for both his new Taijutsu and his ninjutsu. If they were limited to the tools they selected, this was going to be nessisary to train where he could.

As the three walked down the main hall-- it was at the moment empty of any guests or staff, except one. A mean looking blonde who glared at them with deadly intent.

At the sight of the blonde, Shao and Kyle stopped Mari behind him. "Shao..." Mari gasped, seeing the menacing challenger. "He's one of the genin at the exams."

Shao looked to him with a calm, unbothered glare back at him. THe aura around him was menacing, but it was clearly a bate tactic.

"HEY! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Kyle shouted, shaking a fist at him. "You got alot of nerve challenging us! We are from the leaf village! You must have a death wish to want to fight Team 3!"

Kyle clearly wanted to put on a show, but no telling how the guy was going to act.

SHao brushed off his partner's rant and blinked at the guy, who seemed a few older than him. After all, Shao was just an 11-year-old genin.

"You got some nerve, threatening me in a hospital of all places..." Shao replied curtly but unafraid. The calm expression seemed almost stone like.

(Asura Enters)

A yawn escaped Asura as he walked through the village of Kiri. He heard good things about the Chunin exam and was looking forward to seeing more. He had some good money down on a couple of people. The girl from the land of wind had promise-- and he had a soft spot for the young Hyuuga kid from the land of fire.

So far, Asura was able to move around without issue. While it was said Iwa had a presence there, no shinobi from them made a move on him-- or any of their allies. He did wear a little bit of a disguise, but nothing that really hid him. Just a shorter haircut but the same face. He was still identifiable if someone really tried.

Either way, he wanted to enjoy things and see how they progressed. He was just passing by the hospital, no real need as he was heading for the inn. He figures he would get a drink, enjoy the hot springs... hook up with some hot Kiri kunoichi. He heard they were fiesty lovers and that got his blood boiling in the best way.

However, all his pervy thoughts soon were pushed aside as he sensed an unusual bloodlust in the area. He turned to the direction, seeing the hospital doors. "Oh, this can't be good." he said to himself.

Part of him wanted to avoid unnecessary contact, but a fight in a hospital was never a good thing. He also was curious. In the face of logic for Asura, sadly, curiosity always won. With a flash of speed, he just seem to vanish and went to investigate. From where he hid, he could sense it through his seismic jutsu. His senses were sharper than most-- able to see 4 people there in the hallway where he sent the bloodlust. The first three was the team from Konoha, Shao, and his 2 squadmates. They were being confronted by a young blonde kid. He almost looked normal, almost as much of a pretty boy as Asura was when he was a spring chicken-- except the bloodlust he radiated was hardcore. He clearly had a killing intent.

Shao, on the other hand, appeared to be as cool as ice. Even so, the tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

It seemed out of all of them, Shao was trying to talk reason into the blonde kid. It was unclear how far the attacker seemed to want to take this.

Either way, Asura knew no one could sense him-- at least the set of Genin in the hall at least wouldn't detect him. For now he kept quiet and observed to see what would happen. If things got seriously bloody, he hoped he could diffuse the situation.

It seems the fight was unavoidable-- and so Shao, Kyle and Mari faced their first life or death conflict...

Reo punched a rock as he trained. Blood sprouted from his knuckles. What good was all the Shadow Clone training for? He had worked so hard…for nothing? Sure, he was moving on but it was by sheer chance of not dying. He didn’t deserve to be a Chuunin – that much he was sure of. He had failed two tests in a row and had a shot at becoming one only because the next test was a fight and they needed more contestants.  

Reo continued to punch the rocks, feeling the pain well up within his body as he did so. It felt good. It felt real.

Reo sat on the ground as a single tear streamed down his face. He was supposed to save the world from dragons? How could he? He was nothing. Nobody.
