The Chunin Exams Mini - Event

Reo punched a rock as he trained. Blood sprouted from his knuckles. What good was all the Shadow Clone training for? He had worked so hard…for nothing? Sure, he was moving on but it was by sheer chance of not dying. He didn’t deserve to be a Chuunin – that much he was sure of. He had failed two tests in a row and had a shot at becoming one only because the next test was a fight and they needed more contestants.  

Reo continued to punch the rocks, feeling the pain well up within his body as he did so. It felt good. It felt real.

Reo sat on the ground as a single tear streamed down his face. He was supposed to save the world from dragons? How could he? He was nothing. Nobody.

Turning the corner Grave finally arrived in the hidden village of the water country Kiri. He started to sense a gathering of some kind he shrugged it off and began walking over to it as his mask covered his face and his armor on his body. This was someone on a mission but more so on a insane trip to hell.

As he vanished he would suddenly appear viewing everyone and smile.

Grave: "This looks like...why are you young one's bullying each other...no matter...I'll just join in as well and see how strong each of you are."

Reo continued to train as time went on. The time for the final exam grew closer, and he hadn’t taken care of himself very well. He was distraught, upset, angry. Most of all, he was ashamed. He should do better. So, he trained. Day in and day out, he continued to train. His Endurance saved him during the last exam? Well, Reo was sure that he would make sure his endurance was ready to go this time.

He punched another rock, splitting his hand open completely. Exhausted, he finally walked back to the hospital. The cold night air was frigid, but he barely noticed. His body was warm from the constant exercise and he was too upset to truly realize how cold it was. His mind and body began to stop their constant assault on him by time he reached the hospital. Because of this, he was happy that he was going inside as the cold air was finally beginning to nip at him.

Once inside, Asura focused on and touched his stamina sealing tattoo/seal and stored as much energy as he dared to within it, then turned towards the kind lady manning the desk.

“You’re an Examinee, correct? Go on ahead, we have room four open and someone will see you there.” The attendant said without bothering to ask Reo why he was there.

Was he that obvious? If so, then perhaps he wasn’t a complete failure. Yet.

Kokoro made her appearance long ago, in her cloak with the Gesshoku Akatsuki emblem, a heavy looking blade covered in paper on her back, and a Hidden Mist headband around her arm. She took her position among the other Kiri Seven Swordsmen at the side of the Mizukage.
Hayabusa, however, had been very fashionably late, missing the entirety of the beginning examinations. He also work his Gesshoku Akatsuki cloak, similar to Kokoro’s but with a symbol of a dragon on the back, where hers was an angel. He entered the scene with his Rinnegan glowing, paying his respects to the Kazekage, Hokage, Cardinal Kayo, and the high priestess of the neighboring continent, before he were to take a seat among the village leaders, sitting below the banner of Beast Country, representing it as its village’s leader.
On the outskirts, another figure, also with the Rinnegan, holding an Izanagi Creation Spear in his right hand and a crimson Gourd at his left, Kami headband planted on his head and a covered face.
Hayabusa remained at his seat throughout the exam, until being dismissed by the hosting Kage.
Though Kokoro remained with her Kage and breatheren, the figure with Rinnegan continued to follow at a safe distance, keeping at eye on her lieutenant, Yukimura. It had seemingly been so that he got himself in a battle.
Haya-Shizou tried to keep a distance during this battle, until the arrival of somebody familiar to the Original Path had arrived. Hayabusa shortly caught up to his path while the battle transpired. He took his Gourd from the path, but remained in the distance, though the child he should have been protecting had gotten himself too deep…

The chunin exams were going to start today, and Shao had taken a horrible blow. Right then and there, he was attacked in a hospital. Followed by an insanely strong stranger not even in the exam and attempted to steal his eyes. Everything went black after that for him. He was kept longer into the hospital to recover as the injuries were threatening.

Kyle and Mari were regularly okay but it still caused a fright to them to see Shao overpowered by a superior shinobi and aimed for his eyes. Now, the two waited at the main arena where the 3rd exam of the chunin exams were going to begin. Still the nurse urged them to go on as Shao was in extensive care.

The two were quiet as they waited for them. The zest from Kyle's usual demeanor was gone. He saw the strength of jounin level shinobi-- if not a monster that almost killed his friend. He had his arms folded across his chest, his lips firm in thought.

Mari was as quiet as usual, a sad look on her face.

"Do you... do you think he will make it?" Kyle asked with hesitation, his teeth gritted in anger and frustration he couldn't help his friend. "The doctor said..."

"He will be fine," Mari spoke up, her look firming up as she turned to Kyle. "The doctor said they got to him in time, and the damage was majorly prevented. "

Kyle still looked down, boggling what happened. "Still.. the strength of those guys... that was insane. And they all aimed to take his eyes." Shao said, his teeth gritting more... now angry. "Those guys... those guys..."

"Calm down, Kyle..." Mari said, breaking his anger that was boiling in him. "Remember, we still got the exams to consider. After all, Shao would be the first to tell you to not let yourself get carried away. This is no different than a mission, so let's do our best. If not for us, for Shao."

Kyle stopped and looked up. It took a moment but a small smile appeared on his face. "You're right, Mari... Thanks... I do hope he gets here. "

Exhaustion tugged at his limbs, but Shao worked to hurry towards the arena. The doctor had warned him to wait-- but the time was running out. Bandages covered near his forehead replacing his leaf bandana, and his arm in a sling-- more of a precaution than an actual injury. He looked bad than he felt but he pushed forward. Still considering the enemies tried to take his eyes, a bruised arm wasn't as bad.

"I gotta hurry..." he huffed, for the first time, being almost as late as Kyle was.

It was when he got there-- did Mari and Kyle look to see him run. They looked as shock to see a ghost. "Guys, i made it!" Shao panted, finally stopping before them. The two looked at each other, worried to see Shao so beaten up.

"S-Shao! What are you doing here?" Mari squeaked.

"Huh? What do you mean?" SHao said, looking up at her. "We still have the exam, you know. If we don't arrive today, we all fail. "

"Screw the exam!" Kyle shouted, looking at Shao. "YOu almost got butchered and mutilated! You should stay in the hospital. You could barely get up yesterday."

Shao frowned, looking over his injuries. "I know, but ... I can't let you guys down." he said, keeping his expression firm, despite the tremble in his limbs. "We are a team..."

"But Shao," Mari said weakly, worried for his sake. "You're injuries..."

"If i didn't get up after all this, I would never be able to forgive myself," Shao said firmly, almost angry-- but not at Mari. He gained his composure again. What he went through was indeed traumatic, and it was having a toll on him. Still, he couldn't wallow on it. He had to be there... for his comrades. "I rather be here to help you guys, than to wallow in self-pity in a hospital bed. So please, let me fight with you."

THe two exchanged looks--- Mari soon smiled, and Kyle soon grew an even bigger smile. "HAHAHA! I should of known you bastard! Always trying to act cool even when you were mauled!" ONce again Kyle was back to his annoyingly cheerful self.

With that, the three of them slowly entered back into the arena, determined to finish these exams.
